My thoughts are with Brian, Christopher, Corrine & family as they say their final farewell today to a special Lady, who will be forever in your Hearts!
I first met Marilyn when I moved to Warley Avenue March 1981 with three Children 3,4 & 10 feeling overwhelmed as I didn’t know Dagenham at all. A couple of days later a knock on the door with a smiling Marilyn welcoming us to the neighbourhood with a Card & Cake, so lovely.
Times were very different back then, as the Children grew older they all played out together & Christopher being the only Boy certainly got teased, by my girls anyway lol (I think he gave as much as he took) Marilyn always had your back, Christopher, as mums do. They were good times in Warley with much more freedom.
I know Mum was incredibly proud of her family & achievements made along the years, especially Grandchildren who she doted on!
Forever Rest in Peace Marilyn xxx

Marilyn, where to start there are so many lovely memories. How excited you were at 12 years old as my bridesmaid and wearing stockings for the first time. our lovely holidays. My house when Chris and Corrine were small. Family occasions always there. What are we going to do without you, I'm going to miss you so much. I couldn't choose just one memory they are all so special. RIP my Darling. X
